Griffin's notes: I find it very funny how Ru keeps having Zephaniah say, "I see," when historically, Zephaniah had poor vision. That's all I have to say for this section, but I do have more notes on the princess later, if you'll remind me.
Ru's rebuttal: It's just a figure of speech! I know Zephaniah had bad eyesight! >:( He only catches Aldric's apple here because he's used to people throwing things at him, which inspired people to throw more stuff at him to see if he'd catch them, too. It's a vicious cycle, like everything else in Zeph's life. And you act like he isn't EXACTLY the kind of guy who says, "I see," to throw people off the fact that he can't see (very well).
